Vocal
Studies at the Coppell
Conservatory involves the development of breathing skills, extensive
vocal
technique, and expanding the student’s repertoire. For their success,
students are also required to develop a substantial
knowledge of music theory. As our vocal
program addresses the individual needs of
students, their technical development will determine the level of
difficulty in
repertoire assigned. Starting in
2007, the Conservatory offers a Voice
Performance track for advanced students.
Admission to the program is by audition only. Students who audition
successfully will have the opportunity to
work with master teachers to refine their stagecraft and performance
skills. Disciplined
practice and regular lesson attendance will
greatly contribute to the student’s musical development and
progress. Singers
are also encouraged to enroll in
piano lessons (Private Piano or Group Piano) to further their growth as
well-rounded
musicians. Click here to read more about each of the Voice Lessons options. Click here to view and to hear some voice students performing. Click on each teacher's name to learn more about Ms. Suré Eloff and Mr. Ronald Montgomery, our Voice Instructors. Home
