You want to learn how to: Jam? Jazz up your piano skills? be the star of any party? 

Then come explore the sounds of Boogie Woogie, Ragtime, Blues, and more! Come learn how to improvise your own jazz licks, learn to harmonize basic chord progressions, learn about, and listen to, the many different styles of jazz, explore rhythms, and play in keyboard ensembles! 

This program is designed to offer each student the opportunity to explore and expand his/her individual potential, and to develop his/her self-confidence.  Students will improve their artistic talents and will enjoy jamming with their peers and teachers.

At the end of the camp, share what you will have learned with your family and friends in a final recital.

CLASSES

Dates: Monday, June 20 through Friday, June 24

Time: 12:30 to 2:00 pm (1.5 hours per lesson)

(If needed, additional classes will be added in July; a wait list will be available)

RECITAL

Saturday June 25 in the Coppell Conservatory Recital Hall

      Rehearsal at 3:00 pm

      Performance at 3:30 pm

Open to ages 8-14

Prerequisite: Must have had piano lessons for at least one year
