PERFORMANCE CLASSES AND RECITALS
All students have the same opportunity to participate in one of the end-of-year recitals offered for their specific instrument.  In order to be invited to one of these recitals, the student must be ready to perform from memory and must attend the required Performance Classes or Rehearsal.  The student's teacher and/or the Director are the only persons who will decide if a student is ready or not. Private students have the opportunity to participate in one of the Honors Recitals or one of the Spring Recitals.  The requirements for each category of recitals are: Honors Recitals: a student must attend the scheduled Performance Classes and must perform well from memory at the last Performance Class. Spring Piano Recitals: a student must attend the scheduled Rehearsal in April, and must perform well from memory at that rehearsal.
