Mrs. Shelly
Letzkus graduated from Baylor University in
1992 with a Bachelor of Music, specializing in Vocal Performance.
In 1994, she earned a Master degree in Music from Southern Methodist
University (SMU).Mrs. Letzkus has performed in Phantom and Showboat with the Galveston Summer Musicals, and in 101 in the Shade with the Irving Musical Arts. She is also an experienced church soloist performing locally at The First Baptist Church of Coppell and at various other churches in Dallas, Houston, and Tulsa. Mrs. Letzkus has been teaching private Piano and Voice since 1994. She taught at the Dallas School of Music and has given master classes at area private music studios. She teaches students of all ages and all levels, and she easily adapts her teaching to meet each student's individual needs and goals. Mrs. Letzkus truly enjoys teaching Piano and Voice while developing and nurturing the student's love for music and motivation to seek musical excellence. ![]() Mrs. Letzkus resides in Coppell with her husband their two children and their miniature schnauzer. Her family responsibilities and her various teaching activities limit her availability. At Coppell Conservatory she has been a reliable and steady substitute piano teacher since 2006. Her love of teaching, her pedagogic skills, and her dedication make her a favorite of students of all ages. Home
