  Make-Up Policy

As stated in our policies and procedures, we provide one make–up per Fall semester, one per Spring Semester, and one per Summer Semester.  Students who cannot attend the Summer classes will be provided a summer curriculum.

Due to the high volume of attendance in Group piano Classes, and to accommodate our students’ needs, we offer make up opportunities on specific dates.

Please note that there will be a maximum of 12 spots per make-up class and that all scheduling will be handled through the Office on a first come first served basis.  Also note that there are no refunds or credit for any missed classes.

Below are the scheduled make-up days for the 2011-2012 school year. All make-up classes will be held from 3:30-4:30 pm on the indicated Saturdays.

Supplies for Home and Class

Without practice it is impossible for anyone to improve; therefore, students need a full-size acoustic piano or keyboard at home for practice.  As a courtesy, we provide students with Lesson and Theory books at cost; if you prefer to purchase these books on your own, please inform the teacher or the Office.  The following is a list of supplies that each student must have and bring to every lesson:

1.  1.5 inch 3-ring binder with pencil pouch

2.  Pencils & erasers

3.  Writing paper 3-hole punched

4.  One headset or earbuds with 4-foot or longer cord (to protect students from contagious diseases)

**Note: Students may enroll in one of the “Advanced” classes only after approval from the teacher.
