Mr. Matthew Flanagan received a Bachelor's degree of
Music in Classical Guitar Performance, with a minor in Music Theory,
from the
University of North Texas (UNT) where he studied with Tom Johnson and
Paul Leblank. He also studied with Mr. Mitch Weverka at his
Fort Worth studio.Mr. Flanagan
has been teaching since 2005 and he joined Coppell Conservatory in
2007. With his calm and patient nature, he readily develops
the
necessary rapport with his students to teach them and to elicit from them their best. He
enjoys teaching all styles of guitar and music, and his students
range from children to adults, and from beginners to advanced.
![]() During his lessons, Mr. Flanagan addresses the fundamentals of music as
well as the technique of playing guitar, whether classical, acoustic, or electric
guitar.
