Early Childhood Music

childrenCoppell Conservatory offers you the opportunity to develop and nurture a strong musical bond between you and your child through singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening, and playing simple instruments.  Our program is designed to increase your child's curiosity about music, to develop his/her listening skills and sense of beat, and to establish his/her foundation for a strong music education that will be extremely valuable during his/her school years.  Within your child are the voice, the movement, and the language of music. Your decision to initiate music education for your child at an early age enhances his/her natural musical potential and enriches your family life through active music making.  Click here to read about the value of Early Childhood Music.

Seeds of Music ~  Watch your child grow and bloom with our nurturing music program.  Students begin by planting the seeds of music that will root them with the basic fundamentals. As the students grow, their love of music sprouts and their skills blossom.

     The Teacher

Ms. April Stivener teaches Coppell Conservatory’s Early Childhood Program.  She has MusikGarten© certification and received her Master’s degree in Music from the Baylor University Piano Pedagogy Department.  She has lengthy experience teaching group and private lessons to young children.  As a result of her extensive background, she is able to incorporate MusikGarten style classes and an introduction to the piano into our Early Childhood Programs.
