Mrs. Fane started studying music at a young age. She attended the Oborishte Music School in Sofia, Bulgaria, where she studied Violin and Music Theory with Professor Elena Atanasova. She later attended the Bulgarian National Music School where she studied Violin Performance with Radmila Petrova and Professor Elisaveta Kazakova. Subsequently, she studied Music Pedagogy at the University of Sofia. Mrs. Fane then attended Texas Christian University in Forth Worth where she received a Bachelor of Music Performance in Violin. At TCU she studied with Dr. Curt Thompson and Ms. Swang Lin (Associate Concert Master at the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra). She has earned a Master in Music Performance (violin) from Southern Methodist University, where she studied with Dr. Chee-Yun Kim. Mrs.
Fane has already had an
extensive experience in teaching and in performing.
In Sofia, she was a
member of the Chamber Music
Ensemble
“Oborishte”, she performed with the Symphony
Orchestra and with the
Classic FM
Radio Orchestra. While
at TCU, she
performed with the Texas Christian University Symphony
Orchestra, the San
Angelo Symphony Orchestra, the Irving Symphony
Orchestra, and the Abilene
Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Mrs. Fane has taught private Violin and Viola lessons at area DFW schools. Mrs.
Fane
joined
Coppell Conservatory in the 2008
Summer
Semester. Her diversified education and teaching
experience broaden the Conservatory’s strings program. She
has received high praise from students as well as parents.
