Live Your Dream!

If you have ever said “I wish I had learned to play piano as a child”, if you “think you lack the talent to learn” join us at the Coppell Conservatory and we will help you make your dream a reality … you will learn to play the piano.

For all who have always dreamed of playing the piano and never dared, Coppell Conservatory offers you that unique opportunity … come try our Recreational Music Making (RMM) program.  We offer you the way, you need to take the first step.

Learning RMM is a dream-fulfillment opportunity.  Countless adults yearn to play the piano and seek a friendly learning environment that would help them achieve such a dream.  Coppell Conservatory provides that environment.  “One must have talent” to play music is a myth!  “One must study music as a child” is a myth!

Many adults have told us “I wish I had learned piano as a child”.  Most believe they lack the talent to learn or are intimidated by what they perceive as the challenges and the formal requirements of traditional piano study.  As a result, they never try - while still wishing they would.

Coppell Conservatory wants to help anyone who has ever “wished they could play”.  To that end, we have initiated a Recreational Music Making (RMM) program to give any adult, regardless of musical ability, the opportunity to learn and to succeed.

This program encompasses enjoyable, accessible, and fulfilling music-based activities that unite people of all ages regardless of their challenges, backgrounds, ethnicity, ability, or prior experience.

The core concepts are:

> piano is for everyone, not just for professionally minded students.

> lessons should be fun and relaxing.

We offer you an environment where there is no pressure to perform and no rigid training schedule.  You will be with people playing for the pure enjoyment, health, and social benefits that go with it.  We offer you an opportunity where music becomes an everyday outlet for socializing and living a healthier lifestyle.

With the RMM program, we affirm that making music belongs to everyone, and that the purpose is the enjoyment and well-being of each participant and the group.  Of particular importance is the fact that participation does not require special ability or training.  Exemplary performance is not the motive; fun and relaxation are the key drivers. Creating music is one of life's greatest joys.  Making music enriches our quality of life and relaxes the mind and soul.  Each and every one of us possesses music within our hearts, souls, and minds that we need to express.  We invite you to express your inner music in one of our classes. If you wish to play the piano just for fun, your personal enjoyment, or to share a pastime with family or friends, then our program could be the key that opens the door to new opportunities for personal creativity. Many people who have never thought they were musical are now expressing themselves through music.

Whether you are an active mom or dad, or you are retired, you will benefit in many ways from joining one of our RMM classes. Through musical expression, you can achieve a happier and more relaxed approach to life and experience the sense of accomplishment.
